Looks That I Love for This 4th of July // June 30, 2020

Even though, many of us will have smaller gatherings for this 4th of July, you can still sport your outfit during this celebration. Red, white, and blue are the classic colors for this celebration. Mixing prints, colors, and textures, like satin and denim, is a great way to turn your outfit into a style statement and something that is unconventional. The small details of your accessories and outfit pairings, like metallic, can also add a statement. Scroll down for the different ways to upgrade your looks for this 4th of July!

1. Monochromatic + Metallics

What color is better for this 4th of July festivities than metallic? A hint of metallic in a stylish sneaker spices up any outfit. I chose to pair the look with my favorite brand of sneakers, Common Projects. These sneakers are super stylish with a slick design and, not to mention, are great quality!  The satin skirt adds a feminine touch while the graphic top and sneakers make the outfit more casual and comfortable. A white-on-white pairing with the metallic sneakers is simple yet on-trend and the red and blue bag adds another small pop of color. This look is easy and can be inexpensive to recreate and perfect for comfort and style. Shop some of my favorite metallic sneakers below!

2. Denim

You can never go wrong with denim for just about any celebratory holiday. This outfit below is more refined with feminine details I recently saw this top online and fell in love with it! I loved the ruched detailing of the sleeves and how versatile it is. Pair any denim top or jacket with a staple pleated skirt and a block heel sandal for comfort. I chose to pair this ensemble with a red Jacquemus bag, but you can pair the look with any red-colored bag or even blue-colored bag for added color! I am in love with this outfit pairing and I think it is perfect for summer weather.

3. The chambray top + stripes

For the third look, I also chose a denim top, but paired it with a striped skirt. Pair the chambray top and striped skirt with striped sandals and a summer inspired bag or clutch. One on-trend bag you cannot go wrong with is the Cult Gaia Ark bag which now comes in many different shapes, sizes, and colors. If you have not already, check out this post to see stripe on stripe pairings that you can use for your 4th of July celebration! Just add some festive and colorful pieces to complete the look!

4. Tie dye

I thought I would add a more formal look with a asymmetrical pleated skirt and Saint Laurent bag with a gold-chain accent. To add print, I chose a fitted tie dye top perfect for summer festivities and gladiator sandals to tone the look down a little relaxed feel. I have been obsessed with tie dye and I think it is perfect for a 4th of July celebration. The design of this tie dye top pairs nicely with the Saint Laurent bag while adding character and style. You can easily dress this look down with a denim bottom, cotton tie dye top, and any pair of your favorite sandals.  To see some tie dye top options, shop some styles below!
